Ali slurring his words.
It wasn’t until 1984 that Ali revealed he had Parkinson’s syndrome. Undoubtedly it had gone undiagnosed for years.
@@cameramandavid wrong...he was punch drunk from getting the crap beaten out of him. his handlers used him up for easy paydays.
@@mookie449 Ali and his doctors deny his boxing had anything to do with his Parkinson’s but we can all speculate. I know by the time he lit the Olympic torch in 1996 he looked pretty bad.
@@cameramandavidit had been gradually manifesting for a decade or so
What an incredibly gifted shooter, editor and story teller...
The slurred speech was very evident by this point,
David, did you cover the caravan through the Mississippi Delta when Muhammad Ali came to Mound Bayou on a Sunday night?
No. I wish I had, sounds amazing.
@@cameramandavid It was amazing. I was the physician at the Mound Bayou Community (Taborian) Hospital that night. After the planned rally at the now closed JFK high school, Ali stood outside among the crowd for over thirty minutes on a warm evening and gave an impromptu speech and demonstrated his boxing skills. Before he departed, I had the privilege of shaking his hand.
He has my vote
AND mine too!!
The myth, the legend,....Mr. David Brooks!
You can notice the humility in both folks. This is what the people want. A genuine person.
I’m so glad to know that Ali saw USA with a black president elected before he died rip
Underrated Comment my friend. You know I always kept saying this for a long time till people got tired of hearing it
I'm sure he could've been a president himself if god wasn't so cruel with him. Hell have you seen he's brother? He would be rocking today just like Tyson
Ali not only saw the first black president but also the first gay one in Obama. So it was double the celebration.
he peobably dissapointed like the rest of the world, black or white potus still have red bloody hands of the world's innocents
im sure he is more dissapointed than glad
Muhammad Ali the Great
ALI THE GREATEST 🥊🥊🥊
AND BY A VERY VERY LONG WAY TOO MY FRIEND!!

Shame that they built the road through the wilderness section. Completely counterintuitive to what a wilderness is supposed to be. This is a great example of an abuse of power.
I don't think the park service built a road. The island was privately owned before being donated to the U.S. Government. There are still private owners who live around the island, even a small hotel. Those folks have to get around and have services so there is a need to maintain the few unpaved roads. Also, Park Rangers need to be able to quickly get to different parts of the island for maintenance and emergencies. The Park Service shuttle enables elderly and handicapped people the chance to see more of the island. It has very limited runs. It's still a magical place that is well worth a visit.

He’s no genius. They all kissed his ass
David, is there any chance that you know of someone who has footage of the middle school orchestra from 2005?
Yes, I taped it.
Bruh this is one of my pieces for my orchestra(the first one)
Excellent and praise God for John Lewis's life. He cared about everyone and Justice for All!! He gave his life to serve others with courage and dignity. He loved Humanity. Hallelujah!! P.neely
Nice work David! Great concept for a special, and well executed.
Great job Carmine!
Thanks for the info I couldn’t find anywhere else!
I love him
Hi David, Nice video! I enjoyed getting to see some memories of this wonderful day! Playing with Guy next to John Hurt's house for his family was one of the highlights of my musical life! Hope to see you there the next time. Gratefully, Christopher James
Thanks, Christopher! Wonderful to hear from you. My family and I had a great day in Avelon, MS. We loved your set with Guy. I definitely hope to see you in future years.
I am hoping to make down this coming October 7th...
Who knows. It did create some excitement for Evers campaign. Evers came in third in the race. With the traditionally Democratic vote of African-Americans going for the independent Charles Evers, Democrat Maurice Dantin came in second - allowing Thad Cochran to become the first Republican Senator in Mississippi in decades.
Super neat video, thanks for posting and explaining. I've never seen this footage before
So? Did having Ali in his corner help? Must say, true rarity to have Ali backing any politician..
One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen or been!
Great story and may God bless you!!

Just the way I played this with my nice violinist. What so ever.. We had fun.
**KEEP YOUR HORSES OUT OF MILTON GEORGIA** Our horse was shot with paint balls and fireworks repeatedly by local youths. Even with eyewitnesses and physical evidence, city officials did NOTHING to the offenders. Trying to turn bad into good, we created a proposed horse protection ordinance titled "Liberty's Law" / libertyslaw.blogspot.com. After repeated request to present, city officials refused. Since then, one horse has died and another permanently injured due to fireworks. KEEP YOUR HORSES OUT OF MILTON GEORGIA. The majority of parks in Milton DO NOT allow horses! Yep-A city claiming to be a "equestrian community" yet most parks ban horses! Also, Milton is NOT "Rural".There are over 194 subdivisions that take up over 12,000 acres of the total 25k. Farms are selling out in droves. Milton is nothing more that a subdivision city with an image problem.
Excellent performance for a pretty difficult one to play ! Sophia study violin since how many years ?
I guess about 3-5 years.
Someone needs to relocate the horses. They look sickly and half of them are starving. The website wildcumberland.org documents the dying horses. The government of GA needs to step up and do something about the horses. I was there in June and saw them for myself. Most of them do not look healthy.
shellius Nature has a way of keeping a population low enough to prevent everyone from starving. I assume the horses at Cumberland are relatively recent additions. Yes, horses will die off, but that’s a part of the population adapting. Give them a few more decades and they’ll become hardy and the population will even out, preventing starvation. Let nature do her thing.
Emma knew she made some mistakes but, overall the performance was great! Don't put yourself ,aka Emma, down at the end feel proud that you made it through! XD
when she said it's where JFK, Jr. and his wife were married cold chills ran all over me. I felt a personal loss when they passed.
In going to this island in a day or so.
I remember playing this, about this exact speed and sound too...such fond memories :) Well done indeed! One of the hardest pieces a student violinist can find.
Ben even de Belgische componisten aan het ontdekken. Deze uitvoering heb ik volledig uit beluisterd. Waarom die dislikes is ook mij een raadsel. Zou dit onderliggende redenen hebben?
Never heard such amasing version of chaconne. Thanks for uploading
Really good! This is the piece I'm working on rn
Linnea Hayes same
Linnea Hayes me too
I am also learning this piece at a very late age but managing fine although technically quite difficult and needs a lot of practice. Bowing quite tricky in parts, but find it challenging.
Vraiment une très belle performance !
Je sais le jouer maintenant !
